Great to see you in here!

My name is Linda Qvarford and I’m a painter and an illustrator with deep roots on the west coast of Sweden.

I preferably spend all my time painting and most of all I like to create scenes from my surroundings in my home town, Falkenberg.
My medium of choice is acrylic ink and I use it like watercolor on paper with lots of water. It’s a versatile medium that fits my painting style perfectly, since I am in to mixing tiny precision details with big flowing effects.

My main inspiration is found in the world of architecture, among buildings and the details of materials. With my work I want to pass on the feeling of fingers across wooden boards, splashing water against a dock and the long shadows cast by the setting summer sun. Capturing the light and beauty of this is the goal with my artwork.

I have been drawing and painting since I was old enough to hold a pencil in my hand and it is in creating mode I feel most like myself.
I use modern techniques to convey a timeless feeling.

2018 was the year when I decided that I had gathered enough experience and knowledge to leap from my tiny workspace in my living room to a big, fancy studio and place a more serious bet on my artistic career. Since then, I am living my dream.
Since then, I am living my dream.
